A new teaser trailer has been released for the biographical drama-thriller Primetime.
The movie stars Robert Pattinson as Chris Hansen in his early TV career, when he became the host for the Emmy Award-winning Dateline NBC.
The trailer focuses on his show, To Catch A Predator, which ran from 2004 to 2007, catching paedophiles by using actors who impersonated children online before meeting the predators in person.

The teaser is shown through four CCTV cameras, opening with a common scene from the show: The predator coming to the house to meet the ‘child’, before we see Pattinson’s Hansen walking down to meet them.
We hear Pattinson say Chris Hansen’s classic lines, “What would have happened if I wasn’t here?”, “You see how this looks, right?” and one of the final lines in the trailer is the famous “Well, there’s something you should know, I’m Chris Hansen.”
The CCTV cameras also show flashes of several sting operations carried out, a scene between Hansen and actor Skyler Gisondo (whose role is not yet announced), and Pattinson practicing fighting.

To Catch a Predator recorded 238 arrests and 36 guilty verdicts, and each episode reportedly cost upwards of $100,000.
The series was cancelled following the suicide of a Texas district attorney after officers and film crew entered his home for a sting operation.
Chris Hansen was inspired to become a journalist at 14 years old, watching the FBI’s investigation of Jimmy Hoffa.
He has won 10 Emmy Awards including Investigative Reporting, Outstanding Coverage of a News Story, and Outstanding Breaking News Coverage.
The film is set to release in the US on September 11th, with a release date for the UK yet to be announced.
